Updates to Entra ID accounts

This update has taken place on 01.07.2024 and it has been fully completed. Therefore you can no longer request username changes.

We are excited to announce that we will be making some updates to the Entra ID accounts in the coming months. These updates are designed to improve the user experience and provide additional features to our members. Here is an overview of the changes that you can expect:

  • New login domain: We will be transitioning to a new login domain for Entra ID accounts. This change will help streamline the login process and make it easier for members to access their accounts. This means that after migration, you have to use the new domain within your username to login. This will not affect your login username, only the domain part of it.

Examples: username(at)wotfi.gg -> username(at)wotfi.ovh

  • Changing username: During this update you can also request update to your login username.

Examples: username(at)wotfi.gg -> newusername(at)wotfi.ovh

When are the updates happening?

Updates are scheduled to take part on 1st of July 2024, and it will be rolled out within few days. You can opt-in earlier by contacting the support team and requesting the migration. Earliest day to opt-in is 1st of May 2024.

If you have not opted in by the time of the update, your account will be automatically migrated to the new domain. During this time you will not be able to access your account until the migration is complete.

No, you do not need to do anything to prepare for these updates. We will handle the migration process for you, and you will be notified when the updates are complete. You will then be able to access your account using the new login domain.

Will there be any downtime during the updates?

There may be some downtime during the updates as we migrate accounts to the new login domain. However, we will do our best to minimize any disruptions to your access to your account. We will notify you in advance of any planned downtime and keep you informed of the progress of the updates.

Does this affect login to ID or MAIL services?

Yes, this affects both services; ID and MAIL. After migration you need to use the new domain within your username when logging in. This will not affect Zoho mail or ID services in any other way.

If I already have .ovh -domain am I affected?

No, if you already have .ovh -domain, you are not affected by this change. You can continue using your account as usual.
